DAY 1 ORIGIN – LUXOR (CRUISE)
Arrival at Cairo airport, visa processing and boarding of the domestic flight from Cairo to Luxor. Arrival at Luxor airport, assistance and introduction by our representatives. Transfer to the assigned cruise ship. Dinner on the cruise. Overnight on board in Luxor
DAY 2: LUXOR – EDFU
Breakfast on board. At a previously arranged time, visit of the interior of the desert mountains where we will
Visit the Valley of the Kings, with the tombs of the pharaohs, including the entrance to 3 tombs. Visit the Temple of Medinet Habu, preserved in excellent condition. Then panoramic view of the funerary Temple of Hatshepsut. Visit the grandiose Colossi of Memnon. Visit the Temple of Luxor, in the heart of the city. Visit theTemple of Karnak, one of the largest in the world. Lunch on the boat. Sailing to Edfu, on the way we will see the Esna Exclusa from the boat. Dinner on the cruise. Overnight on board in Edfu.
DAY 3 EDFU – KOM OMBO – ASWAN
Breakfast on board. Visit to the temple of the God Horus, one of the best preserved in Egypt, the visit if available will be made in buggies (horse carriages typical of the place).
Lunch on the boat. Sailing to Kom Ombo. Visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, located near the shore. This temple holds important information about medicine and politics of ancient society. Sailing to
Aswan. Dinner on the cruise. Overnight on board in Aswan.
DAY 4: ASWAN
Breakfast on board. Early morning special OPTIONAL departure to visit the Abu Simbel Temples by bus with picnic breakfast. Return and lunch on the boat. Then visit the High Dam of Aswan,
Egypt’s most important dam and of vital importance in the development of the country. We recommend for this day the optional visit to the Nubian Village. Dinner on the cruise. Overnight on board in Aswan.
DAY 5: ASWAN – CAIRO
Breakfast on the ship and transfer to the airport at pre-arranged time to board the domestic flight from Aswan to Cairo. Arrival in Cairo and transfer to the assigned hotel. Overnight at hotel in Cairo.
DAY 6: CAIRO
Breakfast at the hotel. At the time previously arranged with our representative visit to the site of the pyramids of Kefren, Cheops and Mykerinos (optional entrance to the interior of a pyramid) and the Great Sphinx and the Temple of the Valley. Then lunch at a typical Egyptian local restaurant and visit the Memphis Open Air Museum and the Necropolis of Saqqara. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Cairo.
DAY 7: CAIRO
Breakfast at the hotel. At the previously arranged time start the visit to the center of Cairo, including the Citadel of Saladin with the Alabaster Mosque, Coptic Quarter, Cairo Museum with entrance tickets. During the visits we will stop to rest and have lunch in a local restaurant. In the evening dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Cairo.
DAY 8 CAIRO – ORIGIN
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport at a pre-arranged time and farewell to Egypt. You will return home with unforgettable memories and a longing to return.
